ABOUT THE PROGRAM
What is From Bodily Knowledge to Intuitive Movement?
From Bodily Knowledge to Intuitive Movement (FBKTIM) is a seven-part live series with physical and yoga therapist Sherry Brourman, built chapter by chapter from her book of the same name, with research assistant Gina Shelton moderating.
About Sherry Brourman
Sherry Brourman, PT, C-IAYT, has been a physical therapist for more than 50 years and a yoga therapist for nearly three decades. She's the author of From Bodily Knowledge to Intuitive Movement and leads this series exploring how physical therapy, yoga therapy, and pain science come together in practice.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM
A Free Session, Then Six Chapters
The series opens with a free introductory session on October 2, 2026, a chance to meet Sherry, get a feel for the framework, and decide if the full series is right for your practice.
From there, six chapter sessions run monthly through spring 2027:
Chapter | What it covers | Date |
1 | How belief systems and nervous system signals shape movement together — and where to start when a patient doesn't know where to start | Nov 6, 2026 |
2 | Turning your own experience of pain into a teaching tool, grounded in current pain science | Dec 4, 2026 |
3 | The mechanics of gravity, kinetic chains, and Brourman's Energetic Symmetry framework | Jan 8, 2027 |
4 | Reading gait and yoga posture as the same story, told two ways | Feb 5, 2027 |
5 | A five-lens, whole-body assessment approach, from the feet to the head | Mar 5, 2027 |
6 | Twelve foundational yoga postures as movement templates you can apply far beyond the mat | Apr 2, 2027 |
We'd recommend having a copy on hand before the series begins, since each session builds directly from its chapter. You can find it on Amazon, through Singing Dragon, or learn more on Sherry's website.

Yes. The book gives you Sherry's full framework in her own words, at your own pace. The live series adds direct, real-time access to Sherry and moderator Gina Shelton — live Q&A where you can bring your own clinical scenarios and get a response specific to your practice, not just the text.
No, but we recommend having a copy on hand. Each session is built directly from its corresponding chapter, so reading along deepens the discussion.
Pricing and seat availability will be announced this fall. Expect a capped cohort to keep the experience high-touch and connected.
